After decades of abuse within the catholic church and major scandal with Olympic gymnast Dr. Larry Nassar, hundreds have come forward with their own sex abuse stories. On October 1st Maryland will lift the statute of limitations for child sex abuse survivors. One major international advocate is happy to see Maryland lead the way, as she is also survivor and faced Nassar in court.
